Absolutely worth it. I drove from Western Washington to Glacier and it did not disappoint. One of the most beautifully scenic places I've been to in our country. I drove through and around it, including a couple hikes. Avalanche Lake is magnificent! I plan on returning next summer for a deeper dive to actual glaciers within the park.
It is more than worth it because it is beautiful. I would take some time to do more of the parks in that area while there.
I am from Louisiana and we went here two years ago and u must say it is very very worth it you won't regret it
If you speak to most National Park Rangers and ask for their top 3 National Parks, my experience tells me it'd be a rarity if Glacier National Park wasn't listed by the vast majority. Rangers get to see all parks throughout their career, FYI. So, I listened to their advice, I went and I witnessed. My personal recommendation to see it for yourself cannot be more emphatic.
You'd miss out on one of the most beautiful places in the United States!! I love it here its peaceful and stunningly beautiful!! I drove thru there coming from Minneapolis twice once on my way to Montana and again on my way to Washington! I'll be going back on my way home in a few months definitely worth the trip!! You'll love it!!
