Yes it is legal. It is a multi-purpose land. You can hunt there for different game when they are in season. The firing range is a depression on the left side of the road. When you driver down the main road you will come to a split in the road. Take the left. On your left you will see a clearing with a hill that you shoot against. That is the firing range. Just make sure if you use paper targets you clean up after yourself and try to police your brass as best you can. The rangers can be very strict, depending on the ranger.
