Beautiful little gorge with lots of waterfalls, weeping walls and gorgeous moss. Wonderful to visit any season. On the north end there are trails that will connect you over to Sprague land preserve which also has numerous waterfalls.

If you don't go to see this place in the winter, you're missing out!! Beautiful ice formations everywhere

Google maps will take you to aker street by a private property. Back on the main road there is a parking lot for the trailhead. There are a lot of downed trees to climb over and the trail is not well marked. There was a lot of places where you had to choose a direction. The trail ends at the private property so I had to walk along the road to get back to my car. Otherwise, moderate level hike and pretty scenery.

I am the designer for Norwich Magazine. We run a monthly Escape column. This month we are featuring hiking trails and have included Bailey's. Does anyone have high resolution photos they would be willing to share for photo credit?

Keep driving, trailhead parking is on the main Rd, the road Google sends you down seems to be someone's private driveway. Beautiful yard though.
