Absolutely beautiful place. Trees are amazing! It's not only an excellent hiking trail but also a great history lesson. Visitor center is modern and beautiful. I especially loved the iron log fire pit out front. It will definitely be somewhere I will visit often.

Visited today for the first time. It was fun. Love the maps to help you figure out which trail(s) you want to hike. Occasionally benches to sit on. There are several difficulty levels to choose from. From an easy, paved path to gravel, dirt and more ruggedness. We saw deer tracks and many birds. A beautiful nature preserve. We will return soon.

Great place for easy hiking. Shaded and very little elevation change. Can hike in flip flops if you want to. Staff very friendly and informative. Wish I lived in the area to fully explore this gem.
