Yes, and it's more extensive than many other similar places, such as the cliff dwellings near Durango.

Yeah it most certainly was. It was a thriving community at one point too. Even more interestong is that Wupatki was meant to be a temporary housing for the nomadic people. Kind of like a hotel, a place to stay between two places.

Yes they did. There is a lot of freedom to walk around and explore to dwellings. There are placards describing the different communities. Its kind of interesting.
