Flight 93 national memorial is easy to get to but off the beaten path. Plenty of free parking and handicapped accessible. The tower of voices you should come to first, if you didn’t don’t worry, we missed them coming in because gps took us to another route but still got to the memorial. Plenty of space. Don’t forget to get a program which details all about the tragedy. There’s a lot to walk so wear a good pair of shoes. We did the winding trail up to the view platform and I had on flip flops. It can be done which I proved but my feet, ugh! Everything is free. You can leave a note in the shelter for the victim’s families. Very beautiful place. Very well done and looked after. There are historians there to answer questions and tell the story. There are bathrooms on the premises. Camper parking was available as well.

I vividly remember the day the planes crashed. Visiting this memorial on a sunny summer day in June 2022 brought back all those memories. The sadness, fear, anger and helplessness of the day. But this memorial showed the courage and selflessness of 43 people on that horrific day. Pictures, news, memorabilia, biographies, last phone calls made to loved ones & friends - it's all there! In a field of flowers is a 17ton boulder marking the spot where the plane crashed. The voices tower wasn't ringing. Not enough wind. Chimes weigh 150 lbs each. But a good place to reflect. Totally free admission. Ample gift shop. Even if if you don't remember 911, you should visit this somber place in a country field where flight 93 crashed. America the free, because of the brave! 🇺🇸

Came from California to mechanicsburg to see my uncle and flight 93 was one of the things I wanted to see. We got there and it was very quiet. People speaking more quiet than usual out of the respect of the area you’re in. Steve gave a nice presentation about the different areas and details of the memorial. Very moving and a place Americans will never forget.

I was working in DC and witnessed the attack on the Pentagon. So 9/11 is part of my psyche. I've long been aware of the Flt 93 memorial but never took the time for the side trip off the PA Turnpike to see it. Don't make the same mistake. This is an extraordinary memorial to truly heroic people. The memorial is off the beaten path but we'll worth the trip. There are easy connections on and off the turnpike. The signage was a bit confusing but Waze and Google maps did a good job. The memorial groups are huge and walking the all was more than a couple geezers were up to. The Visito Center views and the center itself are exceptional. Restrooms are in a separate building. Disabled parking is plentiful and convenient. Rangers and volunteers are almost always helpful. These were absolutely top notch. This is an extraordinary memorial. Please see it.

Numerous sections. Walking needed. I have mobility issues. They have wheelchairs but was so broken i couldn't get to the memorial wall
Yes, they can accommodate virtually anything, it's very well thought out. Suggest you read the Wikipedia page on it for insights as to what you'll be seeing.
A minimum of two to three hours. It depends on how much time you wish to take at the visitor's center reviewing what is on display and hearing the voice recordings of the last few phone calls made by some of the passengers. Depending on when you get there, sometimes there are lines you will have to stand in to either enter the center or listen to the phone calls. At the bottom of the valley, there is a memorial wall and very informative kiosk's. It is faster to drive down to it, then walk down to it from the visitor's center, because you will then have to walk back up to your vehicle. The trail is nice but narrow and mildly steep. If you drive down, it saves time I and it's a nice walk from the parking to the memorial wall and informational kiosk's. From this area you will get a much better view of the impact and resting place of those who perished. I have been there twice. I walked up and down the path the first time and chose to drive the second. I hope this helped you.
