They are next door to each other. We are rockhounds & love Ace of Diamonds because we can drive in other areas to dig on property.
There are two mines there
Herkimer is the county where Herkimer diamonds are found. Ace of Diamonds is the name of the mine you can go and dig them up.
Yes, they are 2 different mining areas , but very close to each other.... Great time at both places!!
Yes they are. It was confusing for me as well when I planned my trip there in the fall. Easy to find and owners were very helpful.
