I have not been to Lake Waveland yet. We will be coming out next weekend. I am just reading reviews and coming to say that some of you people are ridiculous. Leaving a 1 star and saying you weren't prepared is your own fault. And leaving a 1 star because they don't have wifi? Leave your electronics at home. Saw people saying it was trash, but didn't post pictures. People who said it was amazing posted pictures. So I will go off of the positive reviews.

We just went for the day. It cost just us $7 to get in. There were a lot of campers. The had Porter John's. We went to the beach part at the lake to play in the water. Everything was clean.

We camped here for Memorial Day and at first we were definitely nervous with how busy it was and trying to find our own spot to camp.. We were very lucky to have found the spot we found and we loved it! We felt the camp store was one of the better camp stores compared to other camp grounds! Once we got home my step son realized he could not find his phone so I called the front gate and asked them if one had been turned in and of course it was not but the lady was very helpful.. I was able to describe where we camped and her husband thankfully found it 2 days after I called! The lady called me first thing in the morning to let me know they had it and that they would be placing it in their safe until we were able to make the drive back to pick it up. I’m appreciative of the help and effort of finding his phone. We will definitely be camping here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are kept up well. There are many great primitive and rv camp sites. Lots of relaxing spots for picnics. The beach/sand area is kept clean. The main bath house by rv sites need some updating as well as the kids play areas. Quite an issue w wasps on most buildings/shelters but bugs are expected, so just be aware. Definitely will be coming back. Great location.

They are open right now, yes (as of Labor Day). But I'm not sure about their policies for seasonal opening/closing.
The fishing is looking up and yes they have a ramp
I think the limit is 3 wks to a site. You can also call them or go to website for info.
Well there's a lake inside of the camping grounds and I don't think there's an extra charge for it... enjoy it =)
The beach is small but clean our family enjoys it. They have also been fixing up the waterslide hoping to have it up an running The cost for the day is 7 if you live in indiana. 9 if youre out of state i believe.
4th of July weekend is probably the only weekend there would be any issue with not having a primitive camp site available
They have 4 cabins with electric. Several primitive areas are near shelters that have eletric. Two shower houses and the RV lot all have electric. Just depends what kind of camping you want to do
