Peaceful Waters Campground

Tent camping is miserable in summer time due to being placed in an open field. Bath house is far from them as well. This is a fallback site if turkey run SP is full. Four stars because the fireworks show for 4th of July weekend was the best I've ever seen. A car sized trailer full of artillery shells, mortars, etc. That sweltering hot field was lit up for a good hour or so. Display had to be at least a couple grand worth of fireworks.

I will say there name speaks for itself Peaceful . My family and I stayed there last weekend and it was quiet, beautiful view of the pond, fishing, no bugs, bathrooms were clean. Close to a small town for movies, food and down the way from Turkey Run state park canoeing and kayaking! I will be back again hopefully soon!

The campground was pretty nice some of the sites aren't very level but the shower house was very clean and well kept and the pond was fun

Love this little place! The ladies in the office are such sweethearts. The cabins are adorable and always clean (plus fridges and AC!!) and the bathrooms / showers are spotless. Plenty of room to explore and walk around the campground and the lake. Plus a little store with ice, wood, etc. Minutes from Turkey Run! Glad we discovered this place - it really is peaceful!
