No food, it's nature trails & some people fish there & some ride bikes I will agree that when you see mud don't try & navigate it you won't win!!! Turn around & go another way you'll see shoes left behind from others that tried it & wasn't successful some even tried placing pieces of found wood across certain spots & still ended up being stuck. I live around the corner & used to go pretty regularly with my dogs that I always had flea & tick treated & one day I found myself picking ticks off my dog from that day forward I don't bring my dogs anymore in summer time maybe when cold out but not any kind of warm weather, That being said I do advise bringing and using a can of deep woods off or something similar & if your a woman I would atleast make sure your hair is up & maybe a hat also & men hats also!!!
No.its a public park
There is no food there. You have to pack & bring your own. I like going into the visitors side. There is some neat learning exhibits inside the visitors education building. The building was built with very environmentally friendly materials... It has been a while since I have been there. But my favorite exhibit inside was the Bill Nye Science Guy videos. If you have time to spend. It is well worth checking them all out! Most interesting video lesson learned was when he got stuck in some mud at the end, that was difficult to get out of. Someone had kept the camera rolling. Showing some of the camera crew having a hard time rescuing him. I am now leary of mud near river banks! Lol... 2nd best Bill Nye video for me was about how canals cause river flooding. If you go. Let us know what you liked best! Please share! :)
There isn't any type of food here!!! We've always just packed snacks for our walks and or sandwiches for a Picnic....
