I've seen people with umbrellas on the small beach there but no tents. I'm not sure that means they aren't allowed. The beach area is sand right beside the water and then grass. Some of the grassy area is shaded by some trees near the walkway.

Tried hiking and check out the scenery, but had to keep moving because of this big red biting ants. Is there anything that can be used to keep them off of you? Off spray doesn’t work.
