Natural Tunnel State Park

Absolutely beautiful I so glad I stopped on my journey to take in the beauty of God's creation!! The staff are very friendly and even helpful with getting a wheelchair for us as we rode the ski lift to and from the tunnel site, with our disabled daughter. She also enjoyed herself! If you love the outdoors I highly recommend this beautiful state park!

What a great park! The tunnel was awesome and the chairlift ride down to it was fun. The lift operators were very friendly and helpful as were any of the workers we encountered in the park. Everyone acted like they were geninually glad we were there. We stayed a week in a cabin and it too was awesome. My only complaint was that the park service could install dishwashers in these cabins. It's no fun having to wash dishes while everyone else is out on the porch enjoying themselves. Even with help it is still a chore. That Being said, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking stuff, way more than at some other cabins we have stayed at in the other parks. Still, somebody has to wash them. The park is beautiful and the area is beautiful. We loved our stay.

What a great out of the way park! There are picnic areas, bathrooms and in the summer there is an AMAZING pool area! This area has some other great parks, Daniel Boone... and it's a very good experience and learning!

Nearly empty in late December. Most facilities are closed. Kids loved exploring the Carter Cabin, Blockhouse and overlooks. Stayed in Cabin 10. Very clean and spacious. FYI no linens or towels in the cabins.
