There are 3 overlooks. I think the first one is .3 or .4 miles maybe? And then the other 2 are about .4 beyond that. So all the way to the top is under a mile if I'm remembering correctly.
The falls can be viewed from the top and the bottom. The more popular spots are the overlooks from the top, to the right of the river. In this route, the nearest view point is an easy walk of about 0.4 miles. After that it requires a steeper uphill walk to the other two views - around 0.3 miles. The views from the bottom has two overlooks. The plunge basin overlook is about 0.4 miles downward hike and the bottom of the gorge is another 0.4 miles somewhat strenuous hike.
The entire walk is about 1 and half. Not to far
There are three overlooks and you can go down to the riverbed. It is very lovely.
When does park close?
I don't remember exactly distance but the walk was very easy and the path was beautiful with all the fall leaves.
You have to drive, they are 2 different places, its a very short distance.
I think you cannot walk, you can drive around 3 miles, will take less than 10 minutes, if there is no traffic..
