My husband and I were there yesterday. Lots of it was roped off and had no swimming or wading signs. Just wondering why????? Thank you very pretty place!

Might suggest it was for safety of park visitors. Since having had heavy rains, things might be a little unstable. Think safety always.

Probably because of the falls. If someone where to go over the falls they would probably try to blame the park service for not roping off the water above the falls. Anyone can go around the signs, but they will have to assume the consequences.
