Tables have been removed both inside and out on our deck and Courtyard so we may practice social distancing correctly. Our outdoor dining is always open for those who prefer to dine outside (and/or have their dogs with them). Hand sanitizer is available throughout the restaurant. Staff members wear masks, in addition kitchen staffers wear gloves as well. We have locked the front door (one of the three entrance doors) in order to better handle (and socially distance) guests entering the restaurant so we do not have people standing together in our small front foyer. Guests may still enter the restaurant via the Bayou General Store or by using the entrance door on our deck.
The staff at Bayou Smokehouse appears to be practicing proper protocols for the safety of their customers. Our waiter was wearing a mask when he took our order. When I stepped in to the building to wash my hands all of the staff were wearing masks.
