I loved the location, the bathrooms were always stocked with paper, etc. however there is much room for improvement in cleanliness. Bathroom needed wipe down badly. Looked like an accumulation of dead bugs and dirt weeks old. Also, lots of micro plastic pieces at the camp site left behind by previous guests. Bottle caps, rubber bands, twist ties, etc. We picked them all up before left because we’re firm believers in “leave no trace behind.” I see from other reviews there’s currently a staffing issue. I hope it’s sorted out. I would visit again.

Nice little campground with any amenity you may want. Has primitive campsites all the way up to cabins. Had 2 sites reserved, a primitive and an electric. Both were fantastic in their own ways. Bathrooms and showers were clean and stocked. Office/store staff are great and helpful. Store has essentials like firewood and snacks. Also has souvenirs and shirts to take home.

Our 1st campground in our new trailer! ⛰️🤪 Easy check in, great price, and perfect location from so much. Scenery is beautiful. Little shop has essentials, firewood, ice. Neighbors are all quiet, pet friendly, nice little dog run, very clean, etc. We are very happy with this campground.

Yes, yes and yes.
It depends on what you are after. We usually stay down by the creek on sites 3-7 because you get the creek and a view of the mountains
They were open yesterday, not sure look online or just keep trying
To be clear, Rick is talking about the state park. Grandfather Campground is different from the state park and is privately owned on the back side of the mountain on hwy 105. They have plenty of tent campsites.
U can drive to sites. Check map for water and electricity sites.
