Used them for tubing and white water rafting. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to go. They make the bus ride feel short. The white water rafting experience was just excellent.

I booked this company to go tubing by mistake when trying to book at Wahoos because that’s who I have used in the past. Phone conversations were polite and helpful. Staff at desk were helpful. Tubes were in good condition and ropes were easy to find. The river itself never disappoints. The rickety bridge is real and even with the water being kind of low it is hard to maneuver underneath. The same route as wahoos, as we saw some folks from there in that area. Wasn’t too busy on a Friday afternoon and we had a great time! The pick up point was not as enjoyable. The young men, who looked to be high school or college students were a bit less helpful and with the rocky shore of the pick up point my bf and I almost went down! They all seemed annoyed and in a hurry to get us on to the shuttle. The shuttle ride wasn’t that long seemed like 15 minutes. Not a bad experience.

Awesome group of people. New machines, great guide, and an amazing veiw. Some trails are a little more technical than others, but nothing a first-time rider can't maneuver.

This is the second time we’ve gotten to go rafting with High Mountain Expeditions on the Nolichucky and I can’t recommend them enough. Such a wonderful experience, awesome and knowledgeable guides (George, Kurt and Sammy were great!), and they went above and beyond to make the trip special for us. Highlight of our NC trip. Definitely choose them for your rafting trip!
