Dogs are not allowed. There are two trails - a fairly easy circular one of about a mile and a half and a far more challenging one.
I did the hike to the top in 2018 at age 64, alone, with a bunch of camera gear and a back pack. I'm not in shape at all (largely sedentary woman)and it took me longer than others, but it *was* doable and very worth the effort! There are a couple of steep spots where a short person may need a hand from someone to get from one rock to the next, but that's the only caveat I remember.
If I go by myself, can I get lost or is the path clearly marked that I can go back with no issues?
Dogs are not allowed, also you half to hike for a long time tell you get to the tent rocks.
Must hike
It's a very easy hike if you take your time and well worth it. Even for a fat man like me with a bad knee!! Bring water and a camera, well worth it!! No pets though.
No dogs allowed. It's more of a hike to see the beauty.
73 and took the short walk ok
I did not see that much could be appreciated from the parking lot. The actual hike is pretty light to start-- not much climbing involved the first 30 min or so. The only obstacle to start is loose sediment. Can you handle that?
The hike is easy. My wife and I are seniors and found the hike easy and beautiful.
