Has anyone come across rattlesnakes on dog mountain? I've read reviews on AllTrails that mention this semi frequently, and am curious if it's a real issue.

I've never seen a snake on that trail and I hike it at least once a week.

Yes, we saw one headed down the long way a few years ago. It was near a rocky sunny area. We just saw it's tail, it slithered away and we went by.
