Northeast winds will push the fish in. Main thing is to look for bird activity. If the birds are diving in the water, that means the fish are feeding. This colder time of year is producing Striper (Rockfish), and Red Drum.
West is BEST, East is least. West wind lays water down clearing for trout & blues. East winds = rough ocean cloudy water bottom feeders spot & mullet
