just do not go!! the beach looked beautiful and it would have been great if we would have gotten to go to it. ocean/beach was closed and roped off all the way down. when I asked the front desk cmanager why they did not inform anyone they would have non working areas and no beach access for the day or days he informed me the hotel said had points of access... like a 1 foot walkway to which 5 bulldozers putting in pipes were driving back and forth across the length of the beach. as for the room it was old and dark and outdated. the beds though were surprisingly comfy. we got there late and went down to the vending area which the overhead lights in the whole area were broken and dark. It was sad. The property looked so nice online and the view was beautiful from the balcony, just so disappointed that we drove all the way over there, taking the ferry etc. to visit the outer banks for the first time and we can't even spend the day at the beach as planned. we had to leave the hotel we saved and spent $$$ so we could have beachfront access and enjoy having everything close by for the day. Will definitely NEVER stay here and will not ever recommend this place to anyone. On a brighter note we were able to go up to Corolla and go to the beach and it was AMAZING!

Loved our stay! The people at the front desk were so friendly! Close to everything! The pool was very well kept and clean. The room was very clean! The food there was upscale quality! The eggs Benedict was outstanding! The waitresses were so friendly and accommodating! I would definitely come back!

Stayed here before my wedding and on my wedding night! The staff was so nice and very accommodating! I stayed in a condo and the view was great! Gwyn was so helpful and a great person to work with before, after, and during the wedding! She took great attention to detail to make it the wedding of my husband’s and I’s dreams! A beautiful resort and a good sized event room! The food was great as well! Their menu selection was great! And the room service was quick and delicious! Definitely a good place to relax and a great place to get married! My husband and I will forever have great memories here!

Although its an nice place in a great location in Nags Head. Its not as clean as i would expect from a place like this. I found chip bags and a empty lighter behind the night stand and the main mirror is nasty. I can barley see myself from the bed 8ft away. Not sure if the sheets were changed between guest but the staff definitely need retraining on how to make a bed. Between the wrinkles and clumps I would say a 10yr old made the bed. How ever the staff is nice and willing to hear you out. Just notified the front desk about the trash and not truly worried about the condition of the bed. But wanted it noted. Ill update at the end of my stay.
