I'm a mosquito magnet, so I sprayed before my sunscreen and no bites, because we got stuck a lot we were covered with bugs under the shade. If you're a bug magnet, go for it or get a sunscreen that does both.
Been tubing all day no problem with bugs but sunscreen suggested
Oddly we didn't have a bug bite the whole 2 hrs on the water.
