Daniel provided the best personalized customer service possible when my dog decided to eat my prized Little River Outfitters hat. Needless to say a 25cent greeting card gained a customer for life for all my fly fishing needs. Thanks guys! Ps. The dog has been forgiven. And thanks to the wife for making it happen!

Awesome tackle box stop!!

Knowledgeable staff, fair pricing, large variety (especially their fly tying section) make this a go to destination if you want to fish in or around the GSMNP.

The staff at this place are amazing, super friendly and willing to help . Not snobby like other places I have been ... this will be the only place I stop from now on to get my fly fishing gear !

They require mask and the Store is very clean
We do not stock any live bait. Only artificial lures. I'm not aware of any stores in the Townsend area the sell leaches.
Give them a call. They are great people.
We are open now...with a limited number of people in the store at a time. We are still a little low on a few types of items so if you give a call we can make sure we have what you are looking for before driving up. 865-448-9459. GSMNP opens this Saturday May 9.
Jeff, thanks for the message. We don't offer guides directly through the Shop. All of our outings are schools with more of an educational focus. There are some excellent guides in the area. Here is a link to a page with some great ones. The top three guides on the list focus on the Smokies. I would go to their websites or give them a call. https://littleriveroutfitters.com/pages/ChoosingGuide/ChoosingAGuide.html Stop by the Shop when you are in town and we can get you a map and point you in the direction of some more easily wadable sections of stream. Both streams should be fishing well (7/28/18). Water levels are very good for this time of year. Dry flies and terrestrial patterns are producing well.
Trout fishing season in TN is 365 days per year. If you are only fishing in GSMNP you will not need a trout stamp, anywhere else in TN, you will. NR licenses range from $20 three-day to $99 annual
