My wife and our 2 children (13 & 11) just went on this excursion. The water level was not ideal (I think it was at 83 in whatever their terminology was) but we still had a great time. Although they said outpost B would offer more rapids than outpost A we found this to be completely opposite. B was fun but A was great and a longer ride and had just as many rapids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Just good young adults who seemed to enjoy their jobs. We would highly recommend this for a family trip. It was about 4 hours in all which was a nice chunk of our day spent that didn't involve putt putt or go karts. Solid A.

Great place for family's to have a good time. There was a food truck available to get some snacks with a little picnic area to sit. The store had sunscreen, hats and water shoes available to purchase should you need them. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. The process to buy tickets was quick and easy. Everyone in the group had a blast.

Updated Review... Company reached out to us before we had left and made it right. Anyone can make a mistake. How it's handled, however, is what distinguishes mediocre companies from great companies. As a result, we had an excellent day and will definitely return to raft another day... Thank you MAKE SURE YOU CALL BEFORE YOU COME!!!. This company does not communicate well. We drove 60 minutes and then we're told we couldn't raft because someone in our party was under 18. They let us buy tickets last night knowing this but said nothing. They Just took out money. Staff claims that emails and texts were sent out informing everyone, but no such communication was sent to us. I hope your experience is better than ours. Good luck.

This is such a great time!! My family really enjoyed the chill side. Our daughter loves jumping off the cliff. Actually got my mom out there who has never done anything like this. This was our second time and many more to go!! Thanks for the great service and awesome time. The only thing I would do is have someone out there selling food.

Both our official opening and closing dates for the season typically rely on the current weather conditions and water levels, which is why they may vary. The final day of the season is usually around Labor Day in September. You can check for updates closer to the date both on our website and on our River Rat Tubing Facebook page.

I'm a mosquito magnet, so I sprayed before my sunscreen and no bites, because we got stuck a lot we were covered with bugs under the shade. If you're a bug magnet, go for it or get a sunscreen that does both.

Hello! Protective footwear that will comfortably stay on your feet like Chacos, tennis shoes, or water shoes are highly recommended. If you do not have these with you, water shoes are always available for purchase in our Gift Shop with sizes for young children, women, and men. Sand and stones. Don't remember any mud. One of the funnest memories in the mountains, been going for 25 years. This years the first time. Definitely will do it again.
