it's a easy walk just don't do the 1000 step stairs down to the bottom lol
Slow and steady wins the race. Channel your inner tortoise and you'll probably be fine.
I'm a 65 year old non smoker couch potato...I made it to the suspension bridge (310 steps), but barely made it back up, I was exhausted!!
I'm a 23 year old non smoker and it about killed me. I didn't go all the way to the bottom but I went the 750 steps down and then back up. I'm overweight though. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you! Take a lot of bottles of cold water!
The loop was 1.9 miles, but the stairs were seriously difficult to make it back up. You can hike around at the top {both sides) with just a few small hills.
I am 58 years old, and I had no problems, walk slowly and enjoy the scenery, remember to bring enough water to stay hydrated ... I recommend you enjoy that park ... there are places to take a break and recover ... the bridge Hanging is a place that you can not miss seeing.
Might be wise to try a lesser Trek prior to descending into the Gorge
The hike to the bottom is difficult.
