Edgewater Escape is a small quaint cabin right on the water. Parking is very minimal, the water smelled like sewage at times, and there is some black mold growing on the ceiling in the living room. My husband and I wanted our son to come over for dinner one evening, so there were 3 cars parked out front, which was all that the space could handle. The owner, Ann, sent me a text shortly after questioning how many people were at the cabin. Never in our communication, did she ask me how many people were staying for the weekend. When I received her text, I felt like we had done something wrong by having 3 cars parked out front. Then I was uncomfortable wondering how often she was driving by, and spying on us. The cabin could sleep 3 comfortably but the $165 per night price is only for 2 people. I'm not sure how much more it would have been for 3 or 4 but I think that it's ridiculous that it should be any more. For 2 it's suitable, just be aware of the owner driving by and spying on you, but anymore than 2 and I'd say it's not worth the money.

We love this cabin. We go twice a year and just love it. Secluded and quiet. There are trails near by and off roading trails. There is no wifi but a Verizon cell tower is near by. The amenities are good too. Clean sheets and cookware. And it’s dark in the room at night. The best part is how the cabin is right over the lake. So so cool.

Nice and relaxing getaway. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake and listening to the waterfall. Great location if you plan to visit Tallulah Gorge or downtown Clayton. Quiet, relaxing, tranquil and very beautiful!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to share a moment of time with the people you love. This beautiful little cabin is nestled very quiet serene area. The accommodations are very clean and well kept. The host, Ann, is very nice and has very good communication. My wife and I came out this way for a wedding and couldn't be happier with the Edgewater Escape. Its name is very descriptive of what it truly is, an escape at the edge of the water.

Saw people in a canoe. Not sure about swimming because it's not real clear water. You should message the owner. You can easily walk into the water though.
