Very awesome Georgia State Park! We’ve hiked here many, many times. I’ve hiked down and out with a child backpack carrier, and now, my children are big enough that they’ve hiked it themselves. We think the campground is great! The host is friendly and helpful! The interpretive center is very cool as well. They’ve got a cool shop as well as an awesome, even if small’ish, museum. The rim trails are pretty easy with great views, and if you’re feeling really good, you can hike the rim to rim loop. The swinging bridge is very fun for kids! No matter your reason for coming to the park, I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed!

Camping was great! The gorge was absolutely beautiful! There were easy enough hiking trails for my young kids and there was a lot to see on even the shorter trails. The only downfall was that we couldn't go down to the gorge floor because we had our dog with us and dogs are not allowed or children under the age of eight. We still got to go pretty close to the bottom and we had so many amazing views.

Stayed for 5 days at the campground end of December 2021. The campground was quiet and family friendly. Staff was super helpful every time we called. Very clean. The trails and the views were spectacular. Loved how well taken care the park is. Weather was perfect, not too hot not too cold. The suspension bridge was amazing, a bit scary but with an amazing view. Definitely recommend if your driving by the park.

Beautiful Place!!! Multiple Lookout Points With Great Views. There Are Several Waterfalls And The Suspension Bridge Is Really Cool. There Are A Few Water Fountains And Plenty Of Benches Along The Way But Be Prepared To Do A Little Walking Up & Down A Few Hundred Stairs. Absolutely Worth It As The Scenery Is Breathtaking, Highly Recommended.

it's a easy walk just don't do the 1000 step stairs down to the bottom lol
They can walk the north trail, but not the south
Yes but not at any swimming places. Or on the swinging bridge
The water is accessible however i belive there are signs warning against it. However i did also see a vehicle with kayaks parked there so i recommend calling the reception or gift shop there to find out.
No bit there is a place in Helen Georgia which is maybe 35 minutes from there that you can and also 30 minutes north you will have gold city in NC and you can there
Yes, but only on a leash. Businesses do not normally monitor Google Maps for questions about their services or availability. You should consider contacting them directly or using their website.
The museum has an animal section that might be of ok interest to toddlers. There are paths from the museum that are pretty toddler friendly. I would probably take my toddler.
