The hike is mostly steps.
1/2 mile to viewing area from parking. You then can go down a stairs to another viewing area if you want.
1/2 mile all paved until the first platform. 150+ steps that go down to the riverbed very steep so take heed. Worth every step
I thought it was longer than that but it was hot and there are many hills.
