Location was great! Good restaurants on the grounds, and right in the middle of town. Easy to get anywhere you needed. Room was spacious, and nice outdoor space to take in the scenery.

The hotel (old converted motel) was minimalistic and very comfortable. The new owners did a great job converting it to a warm and welcoming place to stay in Cashiers. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities you needed, even a robe. The only reason I gave this hotel a 4 Star rating was the bath linens. The ones in our room were thread bare…could even see thru the washcloth if held to the light. Everything would have been perfect if it had lush fluffy bath linens.

Our room was very comfortable, well decorated, and was quite clean. The staff was pleasant and made us feel very much at home. We highly recommend the Hotel Cashiers and hope to return for future stays. And additional insight, there are some casual, but good restaurants easily reached on foot, so after a day of hiking, or whatever, you can leave your car in the hotel parking lot and easily walk to a spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner,
