what happened to the large, deep, lake? I have been boating on this lake - maybe 25-30 years ago. Has its water supply been cut off or diverted elsewhere???

The lake got sucked dry back in the late 80s from all the Housing Development used to go boating and fishing there a lot of the wells dried up in Shady Hill area back then too

The lake about dried up when they sunk 16 Wells the other side of 41 for water for Tampa . Many other people's Wells went dry after they drilled those Wells

This lake used to be huge. I will go check it out again - haven't been lately. Thanks for your response.

The lake is still there, toward the back of the park. There is a pier going out on it and an observation tower on its shore.
