Nice park, some areas under construction so that area was closed. Place is clean and nice to walk around. We climbed the tower and we’re lucky enough to see a momma manatee and pup slowly swimming down the stream. They were an incredible site and actually came very close to shore.

Gateway to beautiful paddling trail; great place for SUP or kayak…no crowds. Free parking. Can’t beat it!

Great park, free parking and great for walking for exercise, kids playing on the playground or lunch or dinner at one of the pavilions or tables. Free Kayak launch and parking unlike Jenkins Creek. Amazing views from the observation tower (under repair the day I went by). You can fish from just about anywhere, trails around the inlet from Jenkins Creek. My favorite part is the view from the tower watching Manatees and schools of fish passing through. Signs says no pets in the park but I did see a couple dogs in leashes there.

It is divided into sections which helps over crowding. Tons of trails to walk, secret places to hang and fish. Place 4 kyaks or canoes. Picnic areas, play ground. Surrounded by water that has animals to watch or birds. Peaceful. They are remodeling now, but still very spacious😄🚣🚴🕶️🐿️🐦🐊🐢🦉🦆🐍🐟🦀🐌🦋🕷️🌼🌴🌳🍁🛶🚻🎣

There are signs that say no pets allowed of acception of service animals.
Today they are there until 5 pm. For availability you would have to contact park staff directly. Hope this helps.
No, there used to be a swimming area in the lagoon with a floating dock, but it's been sealed off for the protection of the manatees.
I wouldn't recommend letting your dog swim there. They are supposed to be on leash and there are alligators. It's brackish salt water and up agaist wildlufe areas. Beautiful views from a very high tower.
If you're talking about the picnic tables no I don't believe you can reserve them. First come first serve.
Yes you can there is paid parking. Plenty of people fish overnight there.
No. Park/Preserve List No Pets are allowed in any County Parks. Parks Ordinance #3006-01 Section 25 Pets- Pets shall be excluded from all parks except for designated dog parks. Domestic animals are prohibited on beaches and waters of swimming areas.
The park closes at sunset, so you can't get back into the trails. The parking lot is open, and a lot of people went there when the comet was around. I'm guessing gathering there most times is frowned on though. You might call them.
Sure is!
Ask FWC I will not be able to answer your question.
Idk but in Brooksville the Blueberry Festival is free admission today and tomorrow.😉
Only thing that I've heard is they are opening the brand new kayak launch. Construction should be done on it now
Depends on which parking lot you park in there is no charge by the observation tower
If your talking about the ymca, then yes lots. Don't know of any other place
No there are no hook ups. But there is a nice place up the road. Mary's Fishcamp.
