No, there used to be a swimming area in the lagoon with a floating dock, but it's been sealed off for the protection of the manatees.
there was a floating dock but that was taken out for the protection of the manatee. you can still swim there though because there's a ladder. if you go upstream where the spring starts. really nice area for swimming
There is a small beach area where you can swim but there's no lifeguard or anything. I have seen people swimming in there but not very often. If you continue past there towards Pine Island there is a small beach area where people swim all the time.
