Absolutely beautiful park. Amazing trees and scenery. They have a boat ramp, a playground, dogs are allowed. Definitely recommend this park, both my kids & my dogs love when we come here for walks.

Went to the park on a whim and glad I did . Nice get away , great trails to get lost and walk around , trails end up at a new sturdy walkway bridge that takes you out to the swamp . Many animals running around to see , great foliage and just a nice clean park . Definitely stop and take a walk Ohh and it is free !!

Great for canoe!
I believe it is very basic camping. Have never seen an rv there nor have I seen rules or area locations for them.
Check with the Pasco Parks and Recreations department
It is structurally deficient. It will eventually be replaced, possibly by October 2018.
The lake got sucked dry back in the late 80s from all the Housing Development used to go boating and fishing there a lot of the wells dried up in Shady Hill area back then too
The trains run the second Saturday of every month.
