This a good spot to start a ride and a giod place to rest and hydrate. The location is strategic as there are no facilities north on the Suncoast, and it is on the connection to the Good Neighbor Trail and the Withlacoochie beyond.

commute to the store by bicycle or go for a jog, in Hernando county the trail stretches' from County Line rd. to S.R. 98 near the county landfill by the citrus county line. Trail head 50 has Bathrooms, benches, water fountain and lots of parking.

I love to stop by the many park and walk areas along the Suncoast Trail. My Favorite is the old Train station In Brooksville. if I am near by and have s couple min I will park and walk around to compair the areas. They are all well kept clean and always healthy looking. Thank You Hernando Parks and Recreation!

This is a great place to take a break after riding for awhile. There are public restrooms, that are always clean. There is a water fountain to refill your water bottle. There is also a place to walk your dog. This is usually where I take my break. I love it!

It is a good place to start. If you go north it goes now to 98 the citrus county line. 50 to 98 about 12 miles, hilly. If you go south it will take you a pretty good distance. I have not yet run much past hwy 54. The trail is well maintained and will eventually run up to crystal river. Construction going on now. There are some road crossings you need to be aware of and use caution.
