Would recommend Sunnyside Beach for swimming. The currents here are very strong, there is a drop off, and it is a rock beach. Water is cold at both Beaches, but Sunnyside is a cove with sand and is flatter. Plus there are facilities at Sunnyside.
They can, just keep them close by because there is a drop off. And the water is quite freezing cold as mentioned above lmao
I wouldn't recommend it. No lifeguard, no roped area, quick drop off, cold water, lots of rocks not sand, no bathroom or changing area. Speaking as a former lifeguard and Dad who lives two blocks from the beach park.
