Wonderful experience! Was greeted by a lovely hostess who allowed me to sit out on the deck, even with threatening rain! That's the Northwest for you!! Aldon, my waitstaff person was so kind and polite. Competent and professional! Fish & Chips was excellent. Over-sized portion. Did not skimp on anything. Best I've had in years. Obviously a great cook inside! The owner, John, came out to check if all was good. He was totally kind. Thanks.Robin

We cane here with some friends for a weekend lunch. Topside was clean, quiet, and had great food! The service was wonderful by all of the staff. I ordered the fish and chips (pictured), and, though it wasn't the standard breaded fish chunks, I highly recommend this dish! The flavors were great and it was light enough that I didn't feel like taking a nap after. The fries were also delicious! What I don't recommend: the portobello mushroom burger (not pictured). It didn't have much flavor - just tasted like buttery bread.

A cozy neighborhood corner bar and grill with a coffee shop and bakery downstairs. Steilacoom is a small community on the shores of Puget Sound. The food was delicious, (don't pass on the smoked salmon salad or curry noodles) and the staff solicitous of individual tastes. A gift basket raffle for customers was a nice touch.
