These commenters are referring to an old fireplace that does not function well for cooking. There are No grills and there IS NO BBQ PIT. No fires are allowed on beach. You should bring your own little portable grill. No reservations, limited area. Strict rules apply at this little Nature Sanctuary. No loud music (earbuds welcomed),No Drones. Only one picnic table and 1 bench. Steep stairs, limited parking. Read Rules Posted at Entry. This is a very quiet, No Harvesting, NoCrabbing, Most fishing restricted, Nature Sanctuary. People come here for the quiet.
