What makes this park different from other places

This is One of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. I have driven the whole length many times and I have hiked through the Rockies and even seen Mount Everest and what I say to everyone is every park has their special things about them you just have to find them. This in the fall with all the trees make it look like waves of leaves from 4000 feet

There are campgrounds inside the park with full hookups for campers. I have not seen that in other parks. Bear bins at the campsites so you don't have to worry about bears breaking into your vehicle to get your food or hanging food from a tree.

Took three days to drive Skyline Drive last weekend. The views were amazing. Leaf changing was at its peak. Saw black bear , deer, chipmunk and birds. Hiked many trails including trails to beautiful waterfalls. I go every year in October. Pure relaxation and beauty!

This is an excellent time to enjoy the beautiful color of the leaves. You have to see to understand.

Lots of activities, cute shops, not too expensive, and right now the leaves are AMAZEBALLS!

SHENANDOAH Mountains has many hikes of different levels. There is one trail The Allegany Trail is world famous.

I'm not a professional hiker but this park has different paths to hike (easy, medium, difficult).
