Shenandoah National Park prohibits visitors from bringing any firewood into the park that isn't certified as being heat treated, and instead advises purchasing or gathering firewood within the park.

NO... ABSOLUTELY NOT... There are firewood dispensing vending machines available right at the camp sites... Bring dollars in US $1 $5 bills and/or even $1 coins... NO OUTSIDE AREA WOOD... infestation issues concerns...

Nope! The are certain areas in the park where you can gather wood or you could purchase within the park.
