Yes you can park it in the streets, you might have to drive around to find parking but there is parking all around the monuments👍👍best wishes
Wouldn't it be dangerous to sleep in a park.
As far as I know there about 4 or 5 parking garages near the National Mall.I know "Tent City" which is where a lot of homeless people live is the nearest place to set up your tent if you want to sleep out or there is a park along the Potomac river near the Jefferson Memorial.
Yes you can park in the street but you will have to pay for street parking. It can be pricey in DC. Your best bet is getting a parking garage. Your stuff will be much safer.
