CPS cases can be very costly, depending on why the child is in CPS custody. A case like that would likely require an initial retainer of around $5,000. The attorney would then work on the case on an hourly basis. We sometimes allow the retainer to be made in two payments ... but that really depends on the situation.
When I talked with them for an evaluation of my case was $250. If I hired them it would be $5000 retainer up front. I don't know what the hourly charges are. I belive they would tell you if you called.
