Do they lock up the gates at 8 pm or a bit later? I want to bring my dog but am worried we won't have enough time. (Today is a Saturday)

I think they close later since there is still light at 8pm but I am not sure. Their website says 11pm

I had the same question and got there about 7:00 and was there until the sun set. Gates were open. There were about 10 other people there still

I live right next door and it seems like Jesse is right. I've only seen the main gates closed on Tuesdays. I've seen them open at 1 am before.

I believe the park is open from dawn to dusk but im not entirely sure simce i usually go in the afternoons. Sorry!

They generally only lock the gates on Tuesdays when they're cleaning the park. I havent been in the evenings in awhile though, so this may have changed.
