A great place to spend the afternoon with the fur-baby('s). They can go swimming, play fetch, meet loads of new fur-friends but best of all; run off leash as much as their little or big feet will let them!! Whether U plan to get active with him or relax and let her do her thing, I guarantee U will have one happy and tired pooch at the end of the day!! It's a favorite for my Girl and I. We visit as often as possible. I highly recommend a visit for U and the canine in ur life!!

Good news for your Excellent facts about Lake health , 2 pumps solar powered are in Effect !!! As of today Nov 2021 I just saw them , I see wildlife flourishing. Still let's be cautious when Heat creates bacteria that can harm . But spring , winter , early summer Viva La solar pumps 🐕😇
I've never seen it. The algae develop when there is an abundance of nitrogen and phosphorus plus water temperature above 25°C (75°F) plus a certain amount of stagnation. While we've had a mild winter, I doubt the water is above 25°C right now. Excess N and P often come from excessive fertilization near the water source. While fertilizer may be applied by the Parks maintenance crews to the surrounding lawn, winter is not the time for spreading it. So, at this time of year (unlike summer when the last public warning was issued), you are unlikely to encounter blue green algae at North Bark or other public waterways.
Yes and folks are friendly
New bath station installed at park entrance and removed the old one that is near to the pond. it really helps to clean the dogs and not get dirty while leaving
There are covered areas and benches but I strongly recommend that owners stay with their dogs if they are in the park, playing with other dogs. The owners should be responsible enough to pick up their dogs' poop and help maintain the park.
My dogs have been in the lake numerous times, and have had no complications. However, I suppose it could happen. The lake for the most part appears to be clean-ish. That being said, it is a pond so a certain amount of mud and murk is to be expected. However there is a garden hose attached to one of the water fountains so you can wash your dog immediately after swimming which would probably help avoid any health issues.
There used to be, but the last two times I've been there, I haven't seen one.
I would guess that the park will be open. If not Addison has 2 dog parks that are always open. One is located by Addison circle and the other one is off midway RD on the west side before Proton RD under the major power lines.
Hi, Becca. Not my dog, but please try posting on NextDoor and call local shelters to report the dog as found. If someone is missing her and hasn't been to the park, it's possible she may have wandered over there. Thank you!
I think they close later since there is still light at 8pm but I am not sure. Their website says 11pm
They're called Pawtastic Snacks! I dont know if they have a regular schedule but you can check their facebook page.

Mostly. There are a few douchebags with unfixed bully breeds that tend to be rather pushy, especially if your dog is female
