In June 2017, there was a fee for the museum. Very nice exhibits. Recomnended.

Yes, there is an entrance fee (it's on the website- and not too bad), as well as a fee to do a tour of the dig site and another separate free to join in on the dig. (Recommend the drive/tour to the dig sure if you can't do/afford the actual dig. ...Plus, last I knew, there were a few dino things to see around town too, and which would be free! ;)
