The pools were clearly labeled so we knew how hot each one was. (They were all plenty hot!) Nice shade was provided for most pools, so you could choose if you wanted to be in the sun or shade. While not in the pools, you could either sit on metal benches or find some grass on which to lay your towel. The tickets are single entry, but we wished we could have left and come back since across the street from there you can rent tubes and float down the cold river. It would have been nice to switch between the 2 options.

I went to this place 2 times in the last week on our family road trip. I found it very clean and well maintained with the amount of people that go through there. It has a ton of visitors each day I was there. We did bring 3 of our children and they all liked it as well. There are strict rules about splashing and actual swimming etc. Which I find nice for the atmosphere it's trying to breed. Would definitely suggest going there I'd you are able to.

It's my first time going to a hot spring and I was surprised at how fun it was. The hotest pool was at 115 degrees, while the coolest one was at 105, it was nice with the weather being so cold to have the two temperature s balance out.

Many people bring coolers in but it wouldn't be smart to carry in glass bottles or dishes and i believe they ask you not to bring in alcohol because obviously you'll be in hot pools and hot soaking with alcohol is unsafe. I do think food and drinks are ok from my past experience.

There is a local pub but don't take alcohol with you down to the hot springs. They just don't want the water contaminated with food and drinking while soaking in any hot water like lava hot springs or hot tubs increase the effects of alcohol and can lead to drowning more easily. Its for safety reasons
