We're staying in one of the yurts in February, and a friend coming with us is required to be on call for work over the weekend, so she must be reachable. Does anyone have experience staying at the yurts and know what the cell reception is like?

I've been to a number of the Scuba dive sites throughout the area and have not had a problem with cell service on the Verizon network.

In my experience AT&T is solid in the area, but yes carrier coverage maps should help.

I would suggest checking with your carrier. Coverage has improved but there are still problem areas.
