Seemed like a pretty park. We choose the wrong time to go explore amidst a wind storm. It looks like they have a man made swim hole for the season and has some neat trails!

Pool was closed, but this information was posted prominently so it wasn’t at all a surprise. What did surprise us was the beauty of the WPA building and the plethora of blackberries along the trails. They seem to grow especially well near the pit latrines… ANYWAY! Gorgeous views of the Minnesota River!

I felt they were pretty reasonable when I rented them I remember thinking about half the cost of a hotel. Hope that helps.
From what we understand, it will not be open this season. There were repairs needed last season and dude to covid-19, the repairs will be this season.

Ask at the gate/entry where there are staffed employees for this very reason....and also state park maps.
