They will bring the modem with install that will have only 1 plug and you will need to get your own router if you want wifi or have more than 1 computer to plug in. I think you can get any range of routers, but have seen them recommend against Net gear. The more you spend the better speeds you will get out of wifi but your wired speeds should be at whatever speed you pay for from Tachus.
I don't work for Tachus. I'm a customer, but I purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079JD7F7G?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title. The Tachus installer installed it for me when he setup my service.
