There's a town about 15 mins away with restaurants. At the park you can BBQ. There are charcoal grills at each campsite or the day use picnic tables. I believe the park is under a burn ban so no charcoal or wood fires at the moment. Only gas fires for cooking.
There's a fire ban so you'll need to use a propane grill or bring cooked food or coldcuts.
Our neighbors had their BBQ grill setup in ankle deep water. So cool!
As stated in others replies, there are picnic tables scattered in the river area, there's not that many and are usually taken if you arrive later in the day. There are ants all over the area so be cautious of where you set your food. Burning of anything other then gas bbque pits is prohibited.
