I asked the same question. The answer is that it's too far north and doesn't have any.
In 2015 It Was raining very often and I saw one in the park. It was a great notice, and was in the t.v. news.

No alligators. Maybe a turtle or two, fish, frogs and other harmless water fowel. There are snakes, but this is Texas. Never go trudging through tall grass or step over low bushes. As the weather warms, snakes will be found. Don't worry snakes are an important part of the eco system and they are more afraid of you. Remember take only pictures, leave inly footprints.
